I'm beginning to wonder if you all went to Super Prayer School or something, because his ICP is down! We discussed a couple of options and after getting labs, he got a different concentration of saline, we took off the front portion of the collar, and they made some adjustments to the breathing machine. After they finished with that, I watched the numbers tick down very quickly. He had been floating between 37 and 39 most of the night. Within one minute, he had gone down by 10 points! It did slow a little, but it was at 18 by the time I went back to the waiting room where Jim and Sarah were. They decided to go home and dropped some things off in the room on their way out. In a matter of that 2 minute time difference, he was down to 15! Oh yeah--his lung function seems to be improving as well!
God sure loves this kid, and we know you do, too! Prayers of praise to God for placing this medical staff in Sam's life, giving them the knowledge of what to do, and for a peaceful night for all of us!
Thank you Lord! We continue to pray for Sam and the family. Amen
