Well, some good news, although we are not out of the woods yet. There is still blood flow going to the brain. That is good. It is low, but that, and it looks like this is all related to the pentabarbitol, the paralytic. For now, they are raising the dose of the pentabarb, which might cause other issues, all of which are secondary to bringing down his IPC.
This is the best possible news we could have received. We are so grateful for all of the prayers that flooded in after my first post this morning. Thank you for walking this journey with us and holding us all up in prayer.
Still praying hard. Much love!
ReplyDeleteAny good news is welcome! I pray that good news will continue to come and that Sam will be well and home soon. Amira
ReplyDeleteJust noticed that I can comment. I've been praying unceasingly for Sam and your family since the accident. I can only imagine what this is like for all of you, and I feel so helpless. Just know that I'm within a telephone call (214-476-8911) or email (bklier@att.net). I can support you individually or within Stephen Ministry and/or Share the Care (meals, visits, sitting, listening, taking care of your house, whatever). Just needed to let you know that. And thanks for the updates. Knowing is better than wondering, in fear.

Sam continues to be in our prayers. The ups and downs of the healing process can be heart-breaking or ecstatic! God is walking with all of you and I pray you will keep your spirits up!
ReplyDeletePraying for Sam. God Bless!
ReplyDeleteMy choirs and Stephen Ministers are keeping Sam and your family in prayer. Hugs.
