12/16 - evening

Asking for more prayers, friends.  We have hit another bump in the road.  The first paralytic did not work and they are switching to a stronger one because Sam's IPC is elevated and will not come down.  Please pray that the new one will work to bring down the pressure to an acceptable range (under 20) and that everyone who works to help Sam do their best.

While I'm asking, could you please keep Kyle, Sam's next door neighbor in your prayers as well.  He has a similar injury and is off the machines, but he's just not waking up.  His mom, Donna is awesome, and we've been popping up on each other's prayer chains.  One of Aaron's friends from Boulder even said his family got that notification in Calabasas, CA.

And, one more.  Jay's family was in the surgical waiting room on Saturday with us, and his wife, Sam, was so incredibly comforting to Jim while Sarah and I had left briefly.  He has some existing medical conditions, and came in with pneumonia.  He was doing better, but has had some setbacks.

Thank you for your continuing--and pretty much unending support!

  3. We've been praying for Sam individual and AA a couple ever since we learned of it Sat. eve. Our choir is praying. KOG is praying. On Sunday, Charles added Sam's name to the prayer list at Christ the Redeemer Anglican in Rowlett where he's been attending. Last evening I asked prayers for Sam of all my Facebook friends and asked that they add Sam's name to their prayer lists at their respective churches and synagogues. God bless you.
